IPMAT

IPMAT is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management, Indore. The exam was earlier conducted and accepted by only IIM Indore for admission to its give year intergrated programme in management. In the year 2022, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade started accepting IPMAT scores for admission to its integrated MBA programme. From the year 2023 onwards, many other institutes were added to the list which will also accept IPMAT scores conducted by IIM Indore. Institutes such as the Indian Institute of Ranchi, Alliance University,  NICMAR University,  Department of Management Studies, NALSAR University of Law, TA PAI Management Institute (TAPMI) and Institute of Management, Nirma University are also accepting the IPMAT scores for admission to the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM). 

IPMAT admit card will be released online and is a mandatory document to be carried to the IPMAT exam centre to gain entry in the exam hall. Candidates will not be permitted inside the IPMAT exam centre without the admit card. Candidates appearing for the IPMAT exam should check the details mentioned on the admit card. The admit card must contain the following information:

• Name of the candidate

• Signature and photograph of the candidate

• Roll Number

• Time and venue of the exam centre

• Instruction related to the exam

• Space for the invigilator’s signature 

In case any of the detail is incorrect or missing, the same should be reported immediately to the officials. Also, in case the admit card is inaccessible, the candidate should immediately get in touch with the authorities. Candidates must remember that the admit card is an important document that is required to be carried to the exam hall. 

No, digital copy of the IPMAT admit card will not be considered valid for the verification purpose at the IPMAT exam centre. Candidates have to carry a coloured printout of the IPMAT admit card to gain an entry. IPMAT admit card is a mandatory document which is to be carried to the exam centre along with a recent coloured passport size photograph affixed to it. The photograph should match the one uploaded in the IPMAT application form. IPMAT admit card is a mandatory document which is to be carried to the exam centre and candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre without the admit card. Along with the admit card candidates should carry the following items:

1. Original Photo ID proof issued by the Government of India - Original Aadhaar Card/PAN Card/Voters Card/Permanent Driving License Ration Card and Learners Driving License are not accepted as valid ID proof
2. One clear black and white photocopy of ID proof
3. Two clear coloured copies of the IPMAT admit card along with one original recent passport-size photo affixed on each of them

To login into the IPMAT candidate portal, candidates will require their User ID and password. In case the candidates forget their password or user ID, they can follow the steps mentioned below to know how to retrieve the same.

1. Visit the official website of IIM Indore.
2. Click on the candidate portal tab
3. Now, click on the Forgot password button.
4. Select the credential that you wish to retrieve.
5. Enter the date of birth (as mentioned in the application form), registered mobile number and registered email ID which were used at the time of IPMAT registration.
6. Candidates now need to enter the captcha code and click on the reset password button.
7. Candidates will receive a reset link on their registered email Id and mobile number. Click on the reset link and the candidates will be redirected to a new webpage where they can set a new password.

The IPMAT exam is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management, Indore. The exam is conducted once every year for admission to the five year integrated programme in management. The exam is conducted in the computer-based test mode or online mode every year. The complete IPMAT admission process is online. Students who have filled the IPMAT application form online on the official website will be required to appear for the online exam on the designated exam centre. The students need to reach the exam centre in order to take the online test. For the multiple-choice questions, students will be required to select the radio button on the computer screen against the correct answer and for the short-answer type questions, students will be required to type in their answers on the answer tupple given on the screen. 

IPMAT (Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Indore, for admission to integrated MBA programme offered by the institute. The exam pattern for IPMAT is as follows: 

Section 1: Verbal Ability: This section tests the candidate's English language skills. It consists of 50 MCQs. The section tests the candidate's understanding of topics such as Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, etc.

Section 2: Quantitative Aptitude: This section tests the candidate's quantitative skills. It consists of 25 MCQs and the second part of this section carries 25 short answer type questions. The section tests the candidate's knowledge of topics such as Arithmetic, Algebra Geometry, Trigonometry etc. 

For each correct answer, candidates will be awarded four marks each and for every incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted from the overall score. This means, if the candidate has got ten correct answers, then, he/she will be awarded 40 marks in the total score. The IPMAT question paper has sectional timing of 40 minutes per section which the students must adhere to.
