Ever since the COVID-19 outbreak, IPMAT candidates are required to carry drinking water, hand sanitizer, face mask and gloves along with them. They have to carry drinking water in a transparent bottle. No other item will be allowed inside the exam venue. To increase your chances of admission to IIMs, aim for an IPMAT score of more than 230. This score will place you in a good position for the PI-WAT round.
A 200 in the IPMAT exam is also a good score, but it does not ensure admission to an IIM. The IPMAT cut-off scores change every year based on the difficulty of the exam and other factors.
However, achieving a score of 200 has been proven sufficient to reach stage of the selection process: the Personal Interview and Written Ability Test (PI-WAT).
