Students must clear the Ishan Institute of Management and Technology admission requirements to get a seat in the institute. The minimum eligibility is as below:

| M.Ed | B.Ed degree from a recognised university |
| B.Ed | UG/ PG degree in any stream with a minimum aggregate of 50% |
| DEl.Ed | UG degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for SC/ ST) from a recognised university |
