Yes, you are eligible in jadavpur university and you can apply for WBJEE to pursue BE in Chemical Engineer from Jadavpur University. Student from any state in India can apply for WBJEE. You just need a domicile certificate which claims reservations for government institutions. There is also an eligibility criteria where you have to pass class 12 with physics, chemistry and mathematics as these are the compulsory subjects.

The minimum rank to get admission to Jadavpur University via WBJEE, the minimum rank required is 2917. The least competitive course available at this rank is BPharma, among the General All India category candidates. Among the OBC All India category candiadtes, the minimum rank required is 6424 for admission to B.Tech. in Architectural Engineering.

Jadavpur University WBJEE 2025 cutoff was released in the form of ranks for General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and PWD categories in the AI and HS quotas. As per the WBJEE last-round cutoff 2025, the cutoff ranks varied between 78 and 5435. Therefore, it is easy to get admission to Jadavpur University with WBJEE rank of 2000. However, the choice of courses would be limited at this rank. Students can refer to the table below to know which course had a rank cobe 2K in the last round for the General AI category.

The entrance exams for Jadavpur University's BA (Hons) courses in 2024 are scheduled across different dates in July. For instance, the English exam will be conducted on July 18 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, History on July 12 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, and Philosophy on July 14 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Other subjects like Sanskrit and Sociology have exams on July 10 at different times.
