Jadavpur University is a state-aided autonomous university. It receives funding from the State Government, UGC and the World's Bank TEQIP division. So, the fee is quite low. The fee for UG courses start from INR 20,800. For PG courses, the start from INR 1,200. The fee is high for technical and Management courses such as BTech, MBA, MTech, etc.

Jadavpur University WBJEE Cutoff 2024 was released for Round 2 across different BE/BTech specialisations. The Cutoff was released for different categories under the AI and the HS quota. The Cutoff for the General AI category ranged between 57 and 2917. The most competitive and the least competitive course for the General AI category were B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering and B.E. of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.), respectively.

No, a student scoring less that 60% in their bachelor's degree is not eligible to apply for MCA admission at Jadavpur University if they belong to the general/unreserved category. For candidates belonging to the general category, the minimum marks required in the UG degree is 60%. However, for the candidates belonging to the reserved categories (SC/ST) the minimum aggregate required in graduation is 45%. The selection is based on the scores of WEBJEE JECA.
