Scores set for admission to JCE (Jain College of Engineering) change by course, ranking and test (KCET, COMEDK UGET for B.Tech; Karnataka PGCET for PG). Those qualifying for B.Tech in CSE with CET 2024 were ranked from 34,816-39,830 and those with COMEDK UGET 2024 were ranked from 100,802. Students had to score between 11,301 and 11,931 to get into MBA through Karnataka PGCET. Your ranking in your field may change each year because of changes in the applicant pool and the level of difficulty in the exam.

The process of getting into JCE is not always the same for everyone. In order to apply for popular CSE branches through KCET or COMEDK UGET for B.E./B.Tech, you should aim for a rank below KCET CSE's closing rank which is around 39,830. There are new cutoffs every year. Applying for admission under Management Quota is easier, but it is more expensive. Just as with other branches, students get into PG courses after taking exams such as Karnataka PGCET. Basically, non-fraternity schools don't require top academic scores, but you still need good results in the required entrance exams.

Most people enter Jain College of Engineering (JCE) directly, mainly by availing of the Management Quota. Many students get in with entrance exams, but a small number are admitted by paying higher fees directly. Students interested in a programme must have the required academic qualifications. If you want information about being admitted directly, specific costs or details on availability, you should call or email the JCE admission office.

Students who fit the criteria are eligible to receive 100% scholarships from JCE. Mostly, these scholarships go to students who got excellent grades in Class 12 (for example, 90% or higher) or in JEE Main. Another option is need-based scholarships for economically weaker people, as long as their families earn less than a certain limit each year. Also, JCE distributes scholarships for children of sports figures, defence workers and students from various government schemes.

The food quality in Jain College of Engineering's hostel mess gets mixed reviews. Some students feel it's just average or sometimes even below expectations, mentioning limited variety and not-so-great taste. Others might have a different experience, though. Overall, it's not the best, but not terrible either. If you're thinking of joining, it's a good idea to check it out yourself or talk to current students to get a real feel before deciding.
