S B Jain Institute of Technology, Management and Research has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
| Courses | Eligibility |
|---|---|
| B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate who have passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology & obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks for Backward class, EWS & PWD candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) can also apply. |
| M.E./M.Tech | Sponsored candidate must have minimum of two years of full time work experience in a registered firm/ company/ industry/ educational and/ or research institute/ any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought. |
| MBA/PGDM | Candidate must have completed minimum three year Bachelor's Degree in any discipline or its equivalent with above mentioned marks (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) from any of the Universities recognised by UGC or AIU. |

JIT - Jain Institute of Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

|---|---|
| B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate should have passed Diploma from an AICTE approved Institution, with at least 45% marks (40% in case candidate belongs to reserved category) in appropriate branch. |
| MBA/PGDM | Candidates must have passed Bachelor's degree of minimum of 3 years duration examination or equivalent and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks (45% of marks in case of SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates). Final year students can also apply on provisional basis. |
