Candidates do not need to pre-register any where to apply for Jamia Hamdard University MBBS programme. All seats (General, Muslim Reserved & NRI) are allotted through NEET-UG Counseling through MCC of DGHS under MoHFW, GoI only. No, Hamdard Institute of Medical Science and Research under Jamia Hamdard University does not accepts donation. As per the official website, HIMSR don’t take admission through any counselor/s, agent or any other third party. All the admission to MBBS programme is allotted by Medical Counseling Committee of DGHS under MoHFW, Government of India, through NEET-UG Counseling only. If in case anyone pay any amount to third party, agent or counselor HIMSR, JHU will not be responsible for any refund or admission.

Jamia Hamdard admission process begins with registration. Candidates are required to fill NEET-UG application form for MBBS admission. Candidates after registration, have to appear for NEET-UG. Once the results are out, students are called for counselling. NEET UG Counselling is conducted by MCC for admission to MBBS course.

In order to get admission to a five-year BA LLB course at Jamia Hamdard, candidates have to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Jamia Hamdard provides admission to BA LLB course based on a valid CLAT score. Candidates having CLAT scores are given preference in the selection process. However, as per the admission process, candidates are also given direct admission to BA LLB without CLAT score, if the seats remain vacant for the CLAT applicants or there is a delay in declaration of CLAT result. The university selects Non-CLAT candidates based on their merit in the first five subjects in the last qualifying examination. However, CLAT qualifiers will be given preference over Non-CLAT candidates.
