The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering at IIT Jammu - Indian Institute of Technology other than General category are - 5259 for OBC, 2650 for SC, 1192 for ST, 2165 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

For 2022, cut off was 15208 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering in IIT Jammu - Indian Institute of Technology. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 22779 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

Candidates seeking admission to IIT Jammu for PhD must have completed a master's degree in Engineering/ Technology or a master's degree by research in Engineering/ Technology along with a good academic record. They must also have a qualifying GATE score to be eligible for the same. Students can go to the official website to apply and check if there were any changes in the last date of application.

The application fee per department is INR 300 for General/ Gen-EWS/ OBC category and INR 200 for SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates. This amount is completely non-refundable. Candidates can deposit the requisite application fee by using net banking or debit/credit card facilities. Additional charges are applicable as per the rule of the concerned bank. The fee is, however, not accepted through any other mode.

The cutoff trend for BTech at IIT Jammu has been increasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for BTech under General category for all India quota was 13048. In 2023, it increased to 14589. Likewise, the cut off ranks have increased from 4903 to 4906 for OBC, 2398 to 2660 for SC, 1128 to 1212 for ST, 2085 to 2487 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for Engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

The cut off rank in Round 6 for BTech in Materials Engineering is 17296 which is very close to this range. This was for General category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission in IIT Jammu.

The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, closing rank was 10,005 in 2024. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, closing rank for female candidates was 18,177. Admission to B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering in IIT Kanpur is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

For 2024, IIT Jammu Round 5 cut off was 6310 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech. in Computer Science and Engineering in IIT Jammu. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 12,108 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.
