Yes Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS Mumbai) provides its own separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. The hostel is typically available for students coming from outside Mumbai, with very affordable accommodation fees.

The hostel is located away from the main Churchgate campus which often requires travel for daily classes.

No work experience is not mandatory to get admission in MMS programme at Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies. While professional experience can add value to the student's portfolio.

Students should note that freshers with a strong academic record & high entrance exam scores are eligible to get admission.

Currently, the JBIMS MMS seat intake for 2026 has not been revealed. Last year, the full-time MMS course at JBIMS offered between 150-160 seats for admissions.

Candidates can expect the seat intake of 2026 to remain similar to the aforementioned MMS seat intake at JBIMS.

Yes, internships are a part of the MMS curriculum at JBIMS. MMS students are required to undergo internship during the summer break of their curriculum between the second and third semester. The internship pursued by MMS students will be evaluated during the third semester's final exams.

Yes, the MAH-CET 2026 registrations are still open for JBIMS MMS admissions. Candidates can register to appear for the MAH-CET 2026 until Feb 10, 2026. The aforementioned deadline is very close at this point. Hence, candidates interested in the JBIMS MMS courses should apply as soon as possible.

No, the JBIMS MMS admissions are yet to be opened for the year 2026. Usually the JBIMS admissions to the MMS course are opened in the month of July. This is after the accepted entrance exam results for JBIMS MMS admissions have been declared.

The current MMS fees charged by JBIMS in 2026 is unknown. Last year the tuition fees for MMS courses offered by JBIMS ranged between INR 7 Lacs - INR 8.12 lakh. JBIMS usually reveals the MMS fees when the admissions are opened. Thus, candidates should check for MMS fees at JBIMS when the admissions are opened.

The ranking of JBIMS Mumbai is quiet remarkable. It is ranked As per the Indian Institute of Ranking and Finances (IIRF) in 2023, it has emerged on the 10th position in India. It has also been ranked 10th among the top private MBA institutions in India by Outlook 2022. Compared to its previous ranking of 12th in 2022, JBIMS Mumbai scored 891.48 out of 1000. 

There are certain key parameters that are considered for ranking an institute that includes, its academic reputation, placement records, its faculty, the emphasis on research and the infrastructure.

There are plenty of statistics that cadidates canuse to judge which institute is best for them for pursing an MBA course. In terms of reputation, IIM, Ahmedabad has one of the highest reputations of any MBA institute.
