To change your category, you can make the necessary changes in the JEE Main application form during the correction window, which usually opens for a limited period of time after the first session of the exam is conducted.

Yes, some colleges accept JEE Mains score without a 75% cut-off criteria. They are listed below:

  1. Netaji Subhas University of Technology: 60% criteria
  2. Delhi Technological University: 60% criteria
  3. Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology: 60% criteria
  4. College of Engineering Bhubaneswar: 45% criteria
  5. Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology: 45% criteria

There are many colleges that don't set 75% in PCM in class 12th as an eligibility criterion. Searching for these institutions totally depends on region you are searching for. You can refer to Shisha.com for more information.

If at the time of filling AEEE form, candidates do not have JEE Main scores, they do not have to worry. Academic Profile, documents upload and JEE Mains scores may be entered after the publication of the results. It is not mandatory to fill the same at the time of filling out the application.

Sure. While JEE Main result and scorecard provide information on your exam performance, they differ slightly. The result is a quicker update with a percentile rank (possibly) and pass/fail status (depending on use case). The scorecard acts as an official record, including subject-wise marks, detailed percentiles, and a more precise rank. Think of the result as a progress report and the scorecard as a detailed report card.

Yes, there are several prestigious colleges in India that primarily consider JEE Main scores for admissions, without heavily weighing board examination percentages. While these institutions offer admission to various prestigious colleges, they typically do not include the top IITs in their selection process.
