A biology student can technically apply for a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Information Technology (IT) at L D College of Engineering but should meet the eligibility criteria specified by the institute. Generally, PCM background is needed for courses in engineering. Since you are a biology student, you won't be meeting the requirement unless you've taken additional courses or bridge programs. Admission is generally based on GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test) or JEE scores, but some institutes may also consider other criteria. It's advisable to check L D College's specific admission guidelines for biology students.

If you do not have scores in JEE Main, still, you are eligible for counseling in MP for BE (Bachelor of Engineering) through MP Online portal for admission in engineering college in MP. Some colleges in MP accept admissions based on MHT-CET scores. If you have given MHT-CET, then you can also appear for counseling. In addition, the private institutions can give direct admissions or on some other grounds and, therefore, check the specific requirements of participating institutions and verify your eligibility on the official MP BE counseling portal.

With a JEE Mains score of 80.82%, you cannot be sure about admission at MBM Engineering College, Jodhpur. The current cutoff in popular branches such as computer Science and engineering is roughly 85 percentile. You are likely to struggle to enter core branches, but in other engineering streams, where the cutoff is lower, you might be able to get admission. The admissions for the Rajasthan institutions are handled through the REAP- Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process; it considers JEE Mains marks and Class 12. It is better to visit the official website of REAP for getting updated and the latest information.

Hello Everyone,

Here are some colleges in Karnataka that accept JEE scores: National Institute of Technology Karnataka (Surathkal), CMR Institute of Technology (Bangalore), BVV Sangha's Basaveshwar Engineering College (Bagalkot), Indian Institute of Information Technology Dharwad, and R V College of Engineering.

A score of 120 or higher in JEE Main is considered good, and can get you admission to the best NITs and IITs.

An 85 percentile in JEE Mains can also get you into many good engineering colleges, including the top NITs or IIITs.

Hope this will help you take a better decision.

Thank You!
