While your NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) and JEE Paper 2 scores are crucial for securing admission to architecture programs, your Class 12 marks still play an important role, especially in meeting eligibility criteria and in the overall selection process.

Most institutes require a minimum percentage in Class 12 (usually in the range of 50-60%) in subjects like Mathematics and Physics. Even if your NATA and JEE Paper 2 scores are good, having a solid academic background in Class 12 will ensure you meet the eligibility requirements and increase your chances of admission.

With a JEE Mains rank of 90,000 and 150 marks in the OBC category, you might be able to secure a seat in a decent engineering college for CSE, but it's likely to be a lower-ranked NIT or a good private engineering college, not necessarily a top-tier institute; you should focus on exploring options in newer NITs or state-level engineering colleges.

Possible options to consider:
  • Newer NITs: NIT Manipur, NIT Mizoram, NIT Sikkim, NIT Puducherry, NIT Agartala.

  • State-level engineering colleges: Some well-regarded state colleges might offer CSE seats at a relatively lower rank in the OBC category.

To get admission to the B.Tech programs at SLIET University, candidates typically need to appear for the JEE Main exam, and the cutoff is determined based on their performance. The exact cutoff varies yearly depending on factors like the number of applicants and their exam performance. SLIET also considers scores from their own entrance exam, depending on the course, but JEE Main scores are a common route for B.Tech admission.
