Yes, there are chances of getting into an NIT with a Civil Engineering branch for the mentioned rank. Getting into an NIT is a dream come true for all the aspirants. In case you missed applying for the JEE form, it is not possible to attend that specific year's exam. In other years, though, some institutes offer late application windows against an additional fee, which can be checked on their official website. If no provision exists, then you must start preparing for the upcoming JEE exam cycle while focusing on your studies. You could also check out some of the other engineering entrance exams such as BITSAT, VITEEE or the state level entrance exams as you might get admission into any other engineering colleges.
