The application fee for JEST 2026 is given below. Students are advised to go through these details:

General Category: INR 950

Non SC/ST female: INR 475

SC/ST (male), EWS, and differently abled: INR 475

SC/ST female: Fully Waived

As per the notification on the official website of JEST, the deadline to submit the JEST 2025 application form has been extended to June 1, 2025, at 11:55 pm, from May 30, 2025. Candidates must visit the official website to submit their JEST Application form before deadline.

JEST (Joint Entrance Screening Test) is a national-level exam which is conducted once a year for those candidates who wish to get admissions to MSc, PhD, and Integrated PhD programs in Physics, Theoretical Computer Science, Neuroscience, and Computational Biology at various participating institutes.

The exam is conducted annually at various JEST Exam centres across India. It is conducted at the level of an MSc or advanced BSc in Physics or Computer Science.
