To register for JKCET counselling, candidates will initially be required to enter the requisite/mandatory details for registration and obtain the password for subsequent login into the website. After login, candidates can view their Personal Details and CET Score by clicking on Personal Profile.

Candidates can check the JKCET result on the official website, jkbopee.gov.in. The candidates who are declared qualified in the JKCET exam, have to then appear in the online counselling process.

Yes. Candidates who wish to go for re-totalling of marks can proceed with it by paying INR 1000/- per subject at POS Machine in BOPEE Office at Jammu / Srinagar. BOPEE will accept the written request along with the payment receipt within 3 days, after the declaration of the JKCET result.

Candidates can check details like Candidate's name, Roll number, Date of birth, Caste category, Marks obtained in each section, Total marks obtained, Rank secured by the candidates on the JKCET result.

To check the JKCET result candidates can check the steps below:
- Visit the official website.
- Click on the result link.
- Candidates will have to provide their JKCET application number & password.
- Click on 'Submit'.
- JKCET result will appear on the screen in PDF format.
- The result has to be downloaded and printed for future use.

The JKBOPEE shall prepare a list in order of inter-se merit of candidates in JKCET in descending order of the scores obtained by the candidates. In this way merit list will be prepared for the open merit category and similarly for each reserved category separately. In case two or more candidates have obtained the same number of marks in the entrance test, the merit of such candidates shall be determined by the method of tie-breaking. The merit list is used to allot seats in different participating colleges via the JKCET counselling process.

JKCET scores are calculated based on the performance of the candidates in the entrance exam. The marking scheme of the exam is used to calculate the scores of the candidates.
- Candidates get 1 mark for each correct answer.
- 0.25 marks is deducted for any wrong attempt.
Based on the marks of the candidates in the entrance test, the JKCET merit list is drawn.

The representations on JKCET provisional answer key will be consolidated and referred to the experts whose opinions will be final. The revised and finak JKCET answer key, if any, will be uploaded on the BOPEE’s website a few days before the result declaration. Thereafter no complaint will be entertained.

No, candidates cannot challenge the final JKCET answer key. The final answer key is released after all challenges against the provisional key are considered and the changes, if any, are made. Based on the answer of the JKCET final answer key the result of the exam is prepared. Therefore the final answer key cannot be challenged. Candidates can challenge the provisional answer key of the exam.
