No, you will not be able to get B.Tech CSE branch at MIET or GCET with 404 rank in JKCET exam because it will be competitive for CSE branch but you can go to other branches like mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering or electronic and communication engineering at MIET or GCET.
Other good college options are Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBUET) and Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology (SCET) , Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering.

If we look at the entrance exams required for BTech admission at Kashmir University, we will see that the university takes its BTech admission through the JEE Main and the JKCET entrance exam. Candidates who want to apply through the JKCET entrance exam should look to take admission in SSM College of Engineering, as other colleges take BTech admission through the JEE Main score.

The JKCET application form will be made available by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) on June 5. Registration for JKCET 2024 will be open till June 19. Only on the official website is it possible to complete and submit the application online. The examination's date has not yet been formally published. The JKCET counselling process is given below:
