With a JEE Mains rank of 452359, admission to top-tier engineering colleges like Galgotias University or Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET) can be challenging.

Galgotias University typically has a flexible admission process for various programs. They do accept students through JEE Mains, but they also have their own entrance examination (GEEE). Your chances of getting into a popular branch like Computer Science might be slim with your JEE rank, but you might have better luck with less competitive branches or through the management quota.

Yes, you can get into a good engineering college based on your board exam scores and JEE Mains performance. Some state-level exams and private universities consider your board marks. For NITs, IIITs, and many state colleges, your JEE Mains score is important. Apply for counseling through JoSAA or state counseling. Also, consider private universities that accept JEE Mains scores. Keep track of deadlines and cutoffs to maximize your chances of admission.

Considering your percentage, the chances of getting admission to any IIT or NIT are very low. You can try as you belong to the SC category. You can also study in good private colleges like Panipat Insitute of Engineering and Technology (PIET), Geeta University, etc. that do not give preference to JEE Mains.

To get admission to SVNIT with an 81.12 percentile in JEE Main and belonging to the OBC NCL category under the home state quota, admission to the Mechanical Engineering (ME) branch at SVNIT Surat may be challenging. Previous years' cutoffs for OBC NCL home state candidates typically required a rank between approximately 13,000 to 20,000. It's advisable to check the latest cutoff trends on the official JoSAA website for more precise information.
