During the B.E./B.Tech application process at Jnana Vikas Institute of Technology (JVIT), candidates must submit the following documents: Original and Photostat copies of Marks Card of the 10+2 exam, Transfer Certificate (TC), Conduct Certificate, Marks Card of KCET/COMEDK/JEE Main Year of Appearance, Identity Proof – Aadhaar/PAN card, Passport size photographs - 5, Migration Certificate for candidates from Karnataka, Caste Certificate for ST/SC/OBC Candidates, Income Certificate if seeking fee concession, Diploma certificate for lateral entry admit card, Anti Ragging form.

Regarding this, the Jnana Vikas Institute of Technology (JVIT) cut-off marks differ by the admission process and category. KCET cutoff: 1000-5000 General, 5000-10000 SC/ST/OBC. COMEDK UGET cutoff: 5000-15000 ranks. JEE Main cutoff: 50-100 percentile. Branch-wise cutoffs: CSE (KCET: INR 1500, COMEDK: INR 8000), ECE (KCET: INR 2500, COMEDK: INR 10000), ME (KCET: INR 3500, COMEDK: INR 12000). Management quota cutoff: 50% aggregate in 10+2 (PCM). JVIT offers direct admission under a management quota of 15 seats, and an NRI quota of 5 seats other 80 per cent are allotted through counselling. Eligibility: PCM in 10+2, 50% for management quota, 45 per cent for NRI quota. Documents required: A Transfer Certificate, a Conduct Certificate and the 10+2 marks card. Admission process: Application submission process, Submission of documents and Face-to-face interview. Fees: Management seats (100,000 – 250,000 IRR per annum) NRI seats (250000 – 500000 IRR per annum). Timeline: June-August. Intake capacity: Management quota 90 seats, NRI quota 30 seats.

Yes, admission is possible for JVIT B.E/B.Tech courses even if the candidate is not free COMEDK UGET exam. JVIT has 85 % of the seats by KCET and 15% of the seats by management. They are also allowed to get admission via KCET or management seat. KCET eligibility: 45% aggregate in 10+2 (PCM) for general category, 40% for SC/ST/OBC. Management quota eligibility: 50% aggregate in 10+2 (PCM). JVVIT also give JEE Main scores for admission criterion. Document verification and counselling are compusory.
