To be admitted to KIT Kanpur's DPharm programme, the JEECUP entrance exam score is required. Candidates must meet the basic eligibility requirements first by completing their Class 12 in the PCB/ PCM stream. KIT Kanpur, PSIT Kanpur, and UGI Allahabad each offer 60 seats for the DPharm programme. However, the admission criteria vary: KIT Kanpur accepts JEECUP scores, while UGI Allahabad admits students based on merit and for PSIT Kanpur the institute accepts the scores of both entrance examinations i.e., CUET UG/ JEECUP.

JEECUP is an annual entrance examination conducted by the Joint Entrance Examination Council to provide admissions into the participating Polytechnic institutes of the state.
