If you really look for a private law institute in Bangalore then you must opt for Christ University which would be a better choice for the course. Comparatively, Christ is better in every term.

You don't have to study too hard for this, it's not that hard. But also don't neglect it. They ask you questions based on 7th and 8th standard concepts. Have a look on the present year's CTET question paper, common questions come a lot.

It is little difficult to say which branches you can get at 110. Basically, it depends on cut-off marks of Manipal.
But I think you can get either ECE or Civil.
