UGC has given them an autonomous status where as they manage themselves as a university does, but the actual and complete status of a university is not conferred upon them. There are deemed to be universities. There is no doubt about their credentials though.

Nirma University have great faculty members, faculty student ratio is too good, great placement cell is USP of Nirma University. Just be in top 10 students in Nirma University and you will get good placement, Manipal University Jaipur is below par, just go for Nirma University.

The placements in ECE branch are quite good. Many IT and core companies visit for the placements. If you are good then you can get good job opportunities. Minimum CGPA required to attend the placements is 6.5.

Hi, Admissions are done on the basis of rank in the All India Manipal Entrance Test. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Candidate must be passed in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.
