As per NCTE norms, regular teachers working in primary, middle, secondary or higher secondary schools in Tamil Nadu, recognized by State / Central government, with a minimum of two years teaching experience are only eligible for admission into Annamalai University Distance Education B.Ed course.

There is no harm in taking a drop. If you are not satisfied with your score, and you think you can work hard for 1 more year, then take a drop otherwise Manipal University is also good for CSE.
