Akshaya Institute of Technology offers the courses to candidates through an entrance based admission process. Candidates must follow the following admission process: 

Step 1: Fill out the application form on the website and pay the fees. 

Step 2: Appear for the entrance exam that is required as per the selection criteria.

Akshaya Institute of Technology offers a four-year BTech course for interested candidates. The admission process for the course is entrance based. AIT Tumkur does not accept JEE scores for admission to any of the courses. Candidates are required to appear for COMEDK or KCET to participate in the admission process for BTech at AIT.

KCET Reservation 2025 seats are for candidates belonging to the special category. 15% percent of government seats are reserved for Rural Candidates, 5% for Kannada medium, 10% for Defence Personnel of Karnataka Origin and 1 seat in each engineering college has been fixed for Jammu and Kashmir Migrants.10% of the total seats reserved for defense personnel within the engineering colleges. This means that 10% of the seats specifically reserved for defense personnel are allocated horizontally, meaning they are within the general merit and reserved category pools, to the children of Karnataka-based defense personnel.
