In Karnataka, various universities offer B.Ed. programmes through correspondence or distance learning. The notable institutions that provide B.Ed. are the Karnataka State Open University, Mysuru which provides B.Ed. in distance mode, and IGNOU with a regional centre in Bengaluru, that provides B.Ed. through distance education. The University of Mysore also offers B.Ed. through distance learning and Bangalore University offers a distance education programme for B.Ed., subject to the approval. JNTU Hyderabad is the best place to get a government-sponsored, reasonably priced education.
