For the young men and women who reside at NIE hostel, its the camaraderie, the facilities and the support system that makes the hostel a place to call home. NIE places importance on study and safety. Continuous vigilance monitoring, biometric attendance, maintenance of in and out registers the hostels have stringent rules and regulations in place to ensure the safety of students within campus. At BTI, every care is taken to provide the best facilities for students who stay away from their homes. The hostel provides hygienic food and clean surroundings so that the inmates can live in a congenial atmosphere at affordable prices. A warden living in the premises ensures discipline and prevents any untoward incidents like ragging and other offences. The hostel also has a tie up with a health care centre located nearby so that students can avail of the medical facilities provided there in. PES University (Electronic City Campus) has a boys hostel (for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year) inside the premises. Each room is occupied by 3 students. The condition of the hostel is average. The hostel for 1st year boys and all the girls is present at a different location (6-7 km away) for which the bus facility is provided to reach college. Freshers are situated away to prevent ragging which is a good initiative by the college. The college library and hostel is provided with good Wi-Fi speed which is accessible to all the students. Other than this college include a football ground, two basketball courts, a tennis court, a gym as well as a newly built auditorium. So from above my choice is PESIT Bangalore.

The National Institute of Engineering (NIE) is a grant-in-aid institution and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. NIE got autonomous status from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi in 2007. It has been accredited by NAAC. Sri Jayachamarajendra College Of Engineering, conceived in 1963, is the dream child of Jagadguru Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamigalavaru, the 23rd pontiff of Sri Suttur Mutt. It comes under the aegis of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, which is the primary institution of many such institutions. The college was officially inaugurated by the esteemed founder of Manipal Institutes, Dr. T. M.A. Pai, the then chairman of the academy of education, Manipal, Mysore State. So keeping the above facts in consideration my choice is my choice if BIT Bangalore and NIE Mysore.
