For admission to BA LLB (Hons) at NLSIU candidates have to register through CLAT portal. Registered candidates for CLAT 2023 counselling will be called by National Law School of India University through five provisional merit lists, each released by the Consortium of CLAT. Candidates, who have been allocated a seat in the provisional lists and applied for revision, should check the status of their seat in the CLAT provisonal lists. Those, who have been allotted a seat in the National Law School of India University Provisional Allotment Lists, must complete the process of exercising any one of the actions mentioned below:

1. Accept the allotted seat
2. Apply for Revise
3. Exit from the CLAT admission process

If alloted seat is accepted by the candidate. After, that the candidates need to report to National Law School of India University for admission. The admission confirmation requires, documents submission and fees submission by the candidates through the official portal of National Law School of India University. 

For admission to five-year LLB at NLSIU Bangalore, the CLAT test was conducted on Dec 3, 2023. Aspirants of NLSIU Bangalore were required to appear for the exam in offline pen-paper mode at the allotted test centres. Candidates could complete the CLAT registration 2024 until Nov 3, 2023 in online mode. The exam will take place in more than 125 cities listed as CLAT 2024 test centres in 22 states and UTs. The detailed schedule of CLAT 2024 was declared along with the CLAT Exam Centers 2024.

• The CLAT question paper for undergraduate courses has total 120 passage-based objective-type questions from five subjects - English Language,   Logical Reasoning,   Legal Reasoning,   CLAT3 Affairs including General Knowledge and  CLAT1 Techniques. 

CLAT 2027 dates for admission to NLSIU Bangalore are not out yet. Students seeking admission to UG and PG courses offered at National Law Universities (NLUs) must apply for CLAT 2027 first. Only students who fill out the application form as well as, pay the fee are issued admit cards to appear for CLAT 2027. Students can log in using their registered mobile number and password to update their preferences in CLAT 2027 application form. 

Conducted in pen-and-paper mode, candidates have to attempt questions from English, Current Affairs and GK, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Mathematics for UG course, and from Constitutional Law, and other law subjects like Jurisprudence, Torts, IPC, CrPC, CPC, Family Law, and IPR. 

Candidates who are willing to get into NLSIU Bangalore for the five-year LLB course must specific the desired course in the application form.

For admission to BA LLB (Hons) NLSIU Bangalore accepts CLAT score. So, apart from the course fee, candidates need to submit the CLAT registration fee aswell. Candidates who qualify for CLAT must pay the fee for their respective courses, which includes components such as Tuition Fee, Examination Fee, Security Deposit, Hostel Charges (if applicable), etc.

The CLAT application fee for General /OBC /PWD /PIO /OCI /NRI category candidates, is INR 4,000 and for SC /ST /BPL category candidates, the application fee is INR 3,500I.

Candidates are selected based on a valid score of JAGMAT, which is an in-house aptitude test of JAGSoM. Additionally, candidates are also required to submit the scores of either CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ MHCET & NMAT (Only for International MBA). Further, candidates will have to sit for Group Discussion for a duration of 30 minutes and a two-round Personal Interview (PI) will also be conducted to select the candidates for JAGSoM PGDM course. After accessing the work experience and academic record of the candidates will lead to final admission. The admission process for PGDM is inclusive of the following three steps:

1. Innovation Potential Test (JAGMAT)
2. Group Exercise
3. Personal Interview (PI (1) + PI (2)
