With 72 marks, I doubt if you will be able to get admission in Manipal University, at least in the courses for which students make a beeline. However, for the branches which are not much in demand you perhaps will get admission. Best wishes to you.

For admission to M.Com Program, students must fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria.
Minimum 50% marks at the level of graduation
Certain universities also admit students with a B.A. Economics (Hons.) degree.
Students who have passed B.B.S., B.B.A., B.F.I.A. and B.B.E. with at least 60% marks can also apply.

DTU's offers B.E lateral admissions to three years engineering Diploma holders only. Hence you are not eligible for B.E lateral admission.

Hello, Admissions in Tamilnadu are based on strict criteria which are given out by Anna University which controls and processes the complete admission system for admission to different engineering colleges in the state. I am attaching a link which will give you all the required information about this. Please go through this and decide for yourself if your son is really eligible or not.
