The KCET counselling includes document verification, web option entry, mock seat allotment, modify enteries that is post mock the option is given to modify the enteries, 3 rounds of allotment and final admission. The candidates have the choice of waiting for next round for better colleges or holding or exiting the process.

The KCET counselling has registration process, document verification, web option entry that is choosing courses and colleges, mock seat allotment for students to get an idea of the actual process, modify enteries that is post mock the option is given to modify the enteries, 3 rounds of allotment and final admission. The candidates have the choice of waiting for next round for better colleges or holding or exiting the process.

For admission to UVCE Bangalore BTech courses, students can take the KCET exam. The application fees for KCET 2025 is as follows:

  • Karnataka (GM, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B): INR 500
  • Karnataka (SC, ST, CAT-1): INR 250
  • Karnataka (All Female Candidates of Karnataka): INR 250
  • Outside Karnataka (GM): INR 750  
  • Outside India (GM): INR 5,000

To participate in the KCET 2025 option entry, candidates have to pay a processing fee of INR 750 (NON-REFUNDABLE). The fee receipt carries the following details -

  • CET number
  • Candidate's name
  • Candidate's application number
  • Allotted college
  • Allotted course
  • Course fees
  • Receipt number and 
  • Round number

The KCET 2025 option entry process can be done in the following way -

  • Visit the official website- cetonline.karnataka.gov.in
  • Click on the UGCET and login using the scan QR
  • Capture photo and verify OTP
  • Pay a non-refundable processing fee of INR 750
  • Once the payment is sucessful, candidates can participate in the counselling process. 
  • Select the desired category, based on which you want to do the KCET option entry.
  • Enter the list of the colleges and courses on the right side (rank them in your desired order)
  • Rearrange and once you are satified
  • Save and submit the KCET 2025 options.
