The cutoff ranks vary for differnt rounds and categories. If you belong to the General AI category, the KCET last round closing rank for BTech in CSE was 70084. Under the HS quota, the cutoff rank for the same stood at 77281.

Amity University Bengaluru accepts the KCET entrance exam for selecting students to its BE/BTech programme. If you belong to the General AI category, the KCET closing ranks varied bewteen 31519 and 214671. The cutoff ranks vary across different rounds, specialisations, categories and quotas.

If you belong to the General AI quota, yes 29000 in KCET is considered to be a good rank for BTech admission at CMR University. In 2025, the closing ranks ranged between 36709 and 55398 in General category, therefore candidates with a lower cutoff rank of 29000 are more likely to secure a seat at CMR University for BTech course. However, final admission also depends on minimum eligibility, seat availability in a particular round, etc.

The KCET cut off marks depend upon the course the institution and category which vary for general and reserved. Specific cutoff lists are released by colleges after results are published.
