Established in 1998, KIET Group of Institutions is ranked 48th by Outlook 2023 under the Engineering (Private) category, which shows overall it is a good college. KIET is also approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

CUET-PG Last Round score for KIET Group of Institutions for 2024 in MCA is 6941 AIR for general category. For MBA admission the college accepts CAT and UPCAT ranks. However, applicants must hold a UG degree for the admissions.
