The cut-off marks for NATA at KLU School of Architecture, Guntur, generally change every year depending on the number of applicants and performance as a whole. Ideally, a minimum of about 70 out of 200 is taken as competitive to get in. But one also needs to satisfy the eligibility criteria, including completion of 10+2 with 50% marks each in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering has better placement offers compared to B.Tech in Civil Engineering in KL University. For 2024, the average package of Mechanical graduates in India by L and T, Tata Motors, averaged between INR 6-8 LPA, owing to the increasing demand in the manufacturing and automotive sectors.0
On the other hand, the civil engineering graduates averaged around INR 5-7 LPA, but with fewer companies such as Shapoorji Pallonji, the scope is average due to a sluggish market in the infrastructure sector. On the contrary, KL has a strong placement cell of 90%+ rates, thus giving it an edge over Civil at Guntur.
