The latest cutoff information for BA LLB admissions for the year 2024 at KL University is based on the KL University Law Entrance Exam (KLULEE) or CLAT scores.
The CLAT cut-offs have, generally, been from 60 to 70 percentile, whereas KLULEE is granting admission based on a minimum of having secured 50-60% marks in the entrance exam along with at least 50% in 10+2 marks. The cut-offs vary according to categories and seat matrices at the Guntur campus.

Based on private university trends for CAT acceptance, KL University in 2024 set average CAT score cutoffs between 60 and 70 percentile for admission to the MBA program.
While CAT scores are accepted, KL primarily uses its own KLMAT for admission into the MBA program. Actual cutoff marks vary from year to year based on the performance of the candidates and availability of seats at its Guntur and Hyderabad campuses.

KL University 2024 reports place the average package at INR 7.8 LPA for B.Tech students. This average, while representing overall placement statistics for all branches, implies an average of more than 10 LPA for Computer Science and Engineering owing to its demand, whereas Mechanical or Civil could be around INR 6-7 LPA
. A strong placement drive consisted of over 4,000 selections and 400+ recruiters, including Deloitte and Infosys. This number has risen from INR 6.6 LPA in 2022 and can be taken as a reflection of better networking done by the industry and preparation of the students.

A high number of companies participate in the placement drive at KL University in Guntur. In win B.Tech, rated good placements mostly for Computer Science and Electronics.
It has a 90-100% placement record for eligible students; for 2024 more than 400 companies visited the university including Microsoft, Google, and TCS. The highest package was INR 60 LPA (domestic) and INR 100 LPA (international) in 2024, thus having the attraction for the best companies through its performance. The placement cell gives good training so that students can be equipped for jobs after graduation.

The dates for admission in KL University for 2025 according to March 27, 2025, are not defined, but usually fall at that time of the year during June or July, depending upon courses, in general terms. For B.Tech and B.Arch, it follows the KLEEE schedule, where applications close by May and final admissions close by July.

Upon comparing Sushant University and KL University in terms of the cost of studying BTech, Sushant University is more affordable. The fee for studying the BTech course at KL University is INR 6 Lacs - INR 11.2 lakh, which is much higher compared to INR 4.6 Lacs to INR 9.9 lakh charged by Sushant University. Therefore, according to the above comparison, Sushant University makes BTech a more affordable option than KL University.
