No, it is not mandatory for you to study Science in Class 12 if you aim to study Food & Nutrition courses from colleges in Kolkata. Students must simply clear their Class 12 from a recognised board with at least 50% marks in order to be eligible for Food & Nutrition courses.
However, most students are selected into colleges based on merit or through scores in entrance exams.
