For M.B.A. and M.Com. admission, the Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration in Kolkata requires both an entrance exam and a qualifying exam. Admissions to the M.B.A. programme at GCCBA Kolkata are based on CMAT exam performance.

As per annual report 2022, the college recorded 82% placement rate during NIFT Gandhinagar placements. However, as per Shiksha review, NIFT Kolkata recorded 80% students were placed for BDes students during the recent placement drive. This is to note that, the placement rate mentioned for NIFT Kolkata is gathered from Shiksha review. Hence, the stats may vary further.

Since, NIFT conducts a centralised placement drive across all NIFT campuses, the institute has not released an exclusive placement report 2023. However, the following points might help students in order to prepare for NIFT placement drive:
