Choosing a medical college for pursuing your MBBS is an important decision that depends on various factors.
To make an informed decision, consider the following factors:
- Academic reputation and faculty expertise
- Infrastructure and facilities
- Clinical exposure and training opportunities
- Research opportunities and publications
- Location, climate, and living conditions
- Student support services and extracurricular activities
- Financial considerations and availability of scholarships
I recommend visiting the official websites of these institutions, reviewing their curriculum, faculty profiles, and student testimonials.

Yes, you are free to select a different city for both your study location and IGNOU test location. When completing the IGNOU B.Sc in Food and Nutrition application form, you have the option of choosing an exam center in Srinagar and a study location in Kolkata.
A B.Sc. in Food & Nutrition programme is not offered by IGNOU. They do, however, provide a curriculum leading to a Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education (DNHE). The DNHE programme costs Rs.3,000 in total for the whole course.
