ldce ahmedabad is the better choice for EC if your priority is placements and industry exposure. it has a stronger reputation in gujarat for core engineering and generally attracts more recruiters for electronics. msu baroda is also a good government university with good academics, but for ec, I would prefer ldce.

Yes, Lalbhai Dalpatbhai College of Engineering admissions are open now. The college is currently releasing merit lists for its BTech admissions. Admissions against the vacant seats are ongoing.

LD College of Engineering has decent placements. As per the recent report a total of 1039 students secured placeements during the 2025 placement drive. A total of 156 companies participated during L D College of Engineering placements. In all 166 students were provided with double offers, the number of offers given were 1048. The top recruiters are Wipro, HP, Hitachi, Ceat Limited, Adani Group, etc.

Nirma University is ranked between 100-150 by NIRF 2025. Ranking of L D College of Engineering is not present on official websites. Both ITNU and LDCE have been ranked by various ranking bodies. ITNU was ranked #41 by “The week” and “Times”. LDCE was ranked #87 by “India Today” in 2023. Students should evaluate colleges on other factors as well like fees, seats, placements, etc.
