Lateral entry

Well, the number of seats for B.Tech in Mining Engineering is based on various factors like the number of students applying for B.Tech, rank, etc. It may differ from college to college. However, being a Diploma in Mining Engineering student, you are eligible to apply for B.Tech through lateral entry, which means you can directly enrol for B.Tech 2nd year after completing the diploma. To get admission through lateral entry, you are required to qualify the lateral entry exam which is conducted by the respective university. So please don't worry, you are definitely getting a seat for B.Tech in Mining Engineering course.

Rural weightage certificate if applicable
Domicile certificate
Domicile certificate of his/ her parents (Father or Mother) if the candidate has passed qualifying examination from outside of U. P
Character certificate of Medical Fitness/ Undertaking of Medical Fitness
Domicile certificate, if applicable. Category certificate for OBC/SC/ST, if applicable
Subcategory certificate for Freedom fighters/Armed forces/ physically handicapped as applicable
Income certificate for economically weak candidates
GDDA category certificate, if applicable
Other Documents required (only if applicable)
After document verification, candidates will be given a One-time-password (OTP) to login for choice filling.
