JMI entrance test for law is an offline, pen-and-paper test. The test duration is 120 minutes. There are 150 MCQs.  The test contains the following sections:

Aspirants can follow the steps given below to apply for admission in BA LLB at JMI on the official website:

  • Visit JMI Admission Portal.
  • Click 'New Registration' and enter required details.
  • Verify your email to activate your account.
  • Log into the portal.
  • Click on 'My Application' icon on the user dashboard.
  • Select 'Undergraduate' as your course type and choose 'BA LLB (Hons)'.

To be eligible for admission in BA LLB at JMI, candidates need to pass Class 12 with minimum 50% aggregate. Eligible students can apply for admission on official JMI website. They need to appear for offline entrance test conducted by JMI for law admission. On getting selected, they need to pay required fee and verify documents to complete admission process.

Yes, BA LLB curriculum at JMI includes clinical courses. They are as follows:

  • Alternative Dispute Redressal
  • Pleading, Drafting and Conveyancing
  • Professional Ethics, Lawyering & Bar-Bench Relations

No rules have been mentioned stating whether candidates can apply for SRM IST Kattankulathur BCom LLB (hons) admission before receiving Class 12 board exams results. Thus, candidates should contact admission desk to get any confirmation.

Generally, institutes where admissions are entrance based do allow candidates to apply for admissions before Class 12 board exam results have been announced.

Annual fee for BA LLB at JMI is INR 18,150 for regular category and INR 52,700 for self-financed category. Thus, total course fee is around INR 90,750 to INR 2.63 lakh for 5 years.

At Jamia Millia Islamia, self-financed BA LLB course is not subsidised by the government. Admitted students need to bear the full-cost of such a programme. Regular BA LLB is subsidised by the government.

SRM IST Kattankulathur BCom LLB (hons) application process will require following documents:

  • Class 10th and Class 12th passing certificate and marksheet
  • ID And address proof
  • Transfer / Migration certificate

Candidates are required to pay INR 1,200 as application fees for submitting their SRM IST Kattankulathur BCom LLB (hons) admission form. This fees once paid will be non refundable under all circumstances. This fees is paid separately from CLAT-UG registration fees.
