The needed rank to get DSNLU would depend on the course you have chosen and the category you belong to. The DSNLU CLAT cutoff 2026 concluded with the release of the final cutoff list for the BA LLB (Hons) and LLM courses.
If you belong to the General AI category, the overall cutoff ranged from 1279 to 1571. Hence, candidates need to secure a rank of at least 1571 to be considered eligible for admission. This was the highest rank for the LLM course, for the BA LLB (Hons) course, the highest rank accepted was 1400.
Note: Other categories will have different cutoffs.

Yes, for the students belonging to the ST category under the AI quota, admission is possible with a CLAT cutoff rank of 5000. However, the course and specialisation might vary based on the cutoff ranks and rounds. Based on the CLAT last round closing ranks, candidates can get a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and BSc. LLB. (Hons.) in Criminology and Forensic, with a CLAT rank of 5000. Although final admission also depends on other factors, such as reservation, seat availability, etc.
