The AILET (All India Law Entrance Test) is conducted once a year. It is held in December for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs at the participating National Law Universities (NLU Delhi). AILET 2026 was held on December 14, 2025. AILET Exam is held in pen-and-paper mode. However, for admission to all other NLUs across India, CLAT exam is conducted.

AILET counselling is conducted in both online & offline mode. The registartion for the counselling will haveto be done by the candidates whose names appear in the AILET merit list which is released on the NLU Delhi official website after the declaration of result. Eligible candidates will have to register for the counselling process and appear at the institute for document verification and fee payment.

Candidates will require the following documents during the AILET counselling process:
- Application form
- AILET Hall ticket
- 10th & 12th marksheets
- Category certificate
- Specially-Abled Certificate
- Domicile Certificate
- Any other supporting document to claim your seat

AILET counselling begins from December 19 to December 27. NLU Delhi releases a separate notification for counselling registration, and on the basis of the rank and scores, merit lists are released.

NLU Delhi conducts the AILET exam every year for admission to the BA LLB & LLM programs. Candidates who appear in the exam will then be called for admission as per the rank and scores achieved in the exam. The candidates whose names appear in the merit list are then required to appear for document verification and fee payment.

Since the MH CET Law 3-year LLB application process is closed and the correction window has also passed, you should focus on the next steps. Given that the application deadline was in February and corrections were allowed until early April, it's likely that the next stage is either the release of the admit card or the exam itself.

Yes, there is some corresponding option for LLB available like
. Diploma in cyber law, intellectual property law, Taxation and etc. ( fee Rs. 60,000 and may be more).
.BA in legal studies ( fee Rs. 80,000 -1.5, L/ year) .

Symbiosis Law School, Pune: INR 15–17 L total
ILS Pune (as per student reports): approximately INR 40,000/year 2 L total
Top NLUs (e.g., NLSIU, NALSAR) cost INR 14–23 L (course only).
DU Law is cheaper (INR 10 L course), total INR 20 L including living costs.
Symbiosis, Christ, JGLS range from INR 11 L to 35 L, depending on prestige.
Tier?2/private colleges fall between INR 3 L–10 L.
