Hi,
Yes. CLAT is required for BA LLB Hons admissions in top colleges. The national-level Common Law Admission Test or CLAT is taken at the national level by the Consortium of NLUs for admission in the under-graduate 5 year integrated B.A. LLB (UG) and post-graduate one year Master of Law (LLM) courses in 24 NLUs. Presently the UG courses are available in all the 24 N LUs and the PG courses are available in 21 N LUs.

The salary of BA LLB Hons graduates will differ as per the field they are working in or the company or organisation that they are working at. However, the average salary falls between INR 3 to 6 Lakhs per annum. Lecturers earn average salary between INR 6-8 Lacs per annum whereas Legal Advisors earn INR 5-7 Lacs per annum. The package depends on the location of the firms, with Noida, Gurgaon, Hyderabad and Bangalore providing competitive salaries. It also depends on the experience and area of specialisation of the professional.

Yes. Students of any stream can apply for BA LLB Hons provided that they meet the basic eligibility criteria. Candidates should clear Class 12 in any stream from a recognised school, with minimum 45-50 percent aggregate marks. There is no age bar to pursue the course. Also, if a candidate aspires to pursue law from NLUs, she has to pass CLAT UG entrance examination. For BA LLB Hons admissions, the students will have to attempt the respective entrance examination of the institute if they wish to apply for admissions. Many government colleges give admission on merit-basis but the top colleges such as National Law Universities, Jindal Global Law School provide admission solely on the basis of marks scored in entrance examinations. Shardha School of Law BA LLB eligibility criteria is
- Pass Class 12 or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate from a recognised board.
