A total of 760 vacancies have been announced for Assistant Administrative Officer in LIC this year. Of these, 350 vacancies are for AAO Generalist and 410 vacancies for AAO Specialist. These vacancies will be filled through a three-phased selection process- prelims, Mains and interview.

To be eligible to apply for the LIC Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) exam, applicants must meet the following criteria.
- Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen 2
- Age limit: Minimum age 21 years Maximum: 30 years (from the date specified in the job announcement) Relaxation affects: SC/ST: 5 years OBC (non-cream level):
- 3 years Persons with disabilities (PWD): 10 to 15 years, depending on category. 3. Educational Qualifications: AAO (General): Bachelor's degree in any subject from a recognised university. AAO (IT): Engineering (Computer Science, IT, Electronics) or MCA degree AAO (Chartered Accountant): CA qualification from ICAI

The LIC will soon release the AAO Prelims admit card. Candidates need to visit the LIC official website to download their admit cards.

The age limit for AAO in LIC is 21 years to 30 years. However, the upper age limit is relaxed:

Follow the given steps to fill out the LIC AAO application form:
- Click on the official website – licindia.in
- Click on the Careers tab
- Open the given link Recruitment of AAO for registration
- Go to the apply online link.
- Click on the new registration
- Complete the registration form
- A registration number will be generated.
- Login using the registration number and password.
- Upload the photograph and signature
- Fill in other required details and click on the preview to get the preview of LIC AAO application
