Candidates must have obtained a Bachelor's degree (B.Sc/B.Tech in biological science or equivalent) in physical science under the 10+2+3 pattern of education with a minimum aggregate of 55%.

Hi,
M.Sc in life sciences, any stream (Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology or Microbiology) with at least 55% marks for general (you) and OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST, Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates. Now, B.Tech or M.Tech biotechnology students are also eligible.
M.Sc, B.Tech or M.Tech final year students can also apply.

Yes, you can apply for PGT. Master's Degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks in aggregate with B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognised University.
