You can definitely apply for the UGC NET, if you have completed the Masters programme with at-least 55% marks. The candidate from the reserved CAT must have at-least 50% marks. There is no age limit for the lectureship, but to apply for the JRF Fellowship, the age limit is 30 years. (35 years for the candidates from the Reserved and Female candidates CAT.)

JNU 2019 exam dates have been released in November 2018 and the last date to submit the application is November 2018. JNUEE will be conducted from 27th-30th December 2018. From 2019, JNU 2019 examination will be organized through online mode with multiple choice questions (MCQs).

A graduate degree (Hons) in the biology stream with relevant subjects & an aggregate of 55% marks.
Of the total intake, 60% seats are filled on the merit basis, while 40% seats are filled on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance examination conducted by the University of Delhi.

Employment scope after Master of Life Science is very big, one can work as consultant, museum educator, pharmaceuticals, biophysicist and nutritionist after getting the degree. And can earn upto 2 Lacs to 5 LPA in the beginning of the career.

Yes, there is an integrated course of B.Sc + M.Sc in biological sciences.
It is a four-year integrated degree program without any intermediate Bachelor of Science degree.
Students will get M.Sc (Hons.) degree after the completion of the program.

Mandatory courses: B.Sc (Biotechnology, Agriculture, and Biology), BE/B.Tech (Agriculture & Farm Engineering, and Biotechnology Engineering).
Candidate must have obtained a Bachelor's degree (B.Sc/B.Tech in biological science or equivalent) in physical science under the 10+2+3 pattern of education with a minimum of aggregate 55%.
