Eligibility for M.Sc life science for JNU:
Graduation Mandatory Courses : B.Sc. (Biotechnology, Agriculture, Biology) , B.E. / B.Tech (Agriculture & Farm Engineering, Biotechnology Engineering)
Candidate must have obtained a Bachelors degree (B.Sc./B.Tech. in biological science or equivalent) in Physical Science under the 10+2+3 pattern of education with minimum 55%.

M.Sc life Sciences question paper will consist of two parts.
Part A: All the questions shall be of objective multiple choice type of 10+2 science standard.
Part B: All the questions shall be of multiple choice type of B.Sc. standard from the subjects of Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics and other related subjects.

Home Science is the Science of a home and it includes all the things that concern the person, home, family members and resources. The life sciences are sciences such as zoology, botany, and anthropology which are concerned with human beings, animals, and plants.

The candidate should have obtained the Bachelors degree in any Science with any of the subjects of Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, Geography, Geology, Geography, Life Sciences, Environment Sciences, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Fisheries, Marine Biology, Horticulture, Agriculture, Computer Science, Veterinary Science or any branch of engineering or any relevant Social Science subject with at least 50% in the aggregate at undergraduate level and 45% for SC /ST / OBC candidates.
So, you are eligible for this course.

Yes, you can apply for forensic science. All candidates having bachelor's degree in science engineering pharmacy., forensic science can do the course. You are eligible they are asking for 60%.

Hi,
If you ask about the scope, everything is booming. Each of the courses has it's own importance. But, preferably B.Sc in microbiology and biotechnology are very much known nowadays. Biochemistry have heard, but not sure how many people actually turn up for it. Microbiology and biotechnology is surely coming up and will be reaching high in future. All the best.
