The University offers a two-year full-time LLM programme in the field of Law. Lucknow University LLM admission is based on an entrance test. A candidate will be eligible for admission for admission to LLM course if he/she has completed the Law Graduation from a recoginsed and has secured 50% marks at graduation and for general and OBC. However, for SC/ST the eligible marks are 48%.

As per this year's 2023 admission process, Candidates need to be graduate with 55% aggregate. Programme from the Pt Ravishankar Shukla University or any other recognised University are eligible to apply for the online LLM course at the university. Pt Ravishankar Shukla University course admission LLM Admission is entirely based on merit-based.

MNLU Mumbai admits students based solely on their performance in the entrance examination. Those seeking admission to the UG programme at MNLU Mumbai must take the CLAT, while those seeking admission to the PG programme must take the CLAT PG.  For the LLM programme a candidate's eligibility for admission to the LLM programme is determined by their performance on the CLAT as well as the LLB with a 50% score. CSJM University offers a two-year LLM course spread across four semesters. Candidates need to pass graduation in Law (LLB three-year) or Integrated Law programme (LLB five-year) with at least 50% aggregate from a recognised University in India or from any equivalent institution from a foreign country recognised by the Government of that country for the purpose of issue of qualifying certificate on successful completion of the programme to apply for CSJMU LLM course.
