There is no dissatisfaction because of the faculty and placements.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in our course is 85%. The highest package is 20 LPA, the lowest package is 15 LPA, and the average package in our course is 15 LPA. The top recruitment companies in our course are ENL Legal Recruitment, Michael Page, and Hays. The percentage of students who got internships from our course is 70%, in companies like Aanoor Global Corporate Services, Vakeel Search, and KL Discover.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our course and department, like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library, are very good and clean. The quality of facilities in our hostel is good, and the quality of food available in the mess and canteen is also good. The medical facilities available are also good, and sports and games facilities are also good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students industry ready. The semester exam in our college is not very difficult, and the pass percentage is a minimum of 70%.
Other: I have chosen this course based on my self-interest. Event fests, campus crowd, connectivity, and campus surroundings are also good.

It's a very good college for education particularly for law.
Placements: In the 2025 final year batch only 1 to 3 people got into placements. The highest salary is 7 LPA by TCS. The lowest salary is 3 LPA. Last year, there was Bajaj and this year, there is TCS which is best for recruiting. Very few people go into corporate as many people want to go into litigation or higher studies. Internship opportunities are very good but we have to search on our own. As it is a professional course, we do it under an advocate, so there is not much information about the companies.
Infrastructure: GITAM is good for infrastructure regarding law departments. High-class smart classrooms are there. Wi-Fi is available and if any error occurs, it will be cleared within minutes. Library has a very good collection of books. We have moot court hall. Hostel facility is good. Food is so good and nutritious. They keep special items during festivals and other events. Outdoor gym is available. Badminton court is available. A/C rooms are available. GIMSR which is GITAM Medical College is also available. It is very near to the hostel. We have study rooms, good food, snacks, etc.
Faculty: All teachers are qualified with Ph.D. in law. Teachers have a lot of knowledge and can teach very well. We have 40 internals and 60 external for each subject. The assignment is basically research work. It helps a lot academically, and presentation to boost speaking skills. They help us participate in moot courts, publishing papers, writing articles, etc. Paper is full of practical questions. They don't ask any direct questions. All questions are case study-based and very lengthy papers. I would rate our exam difficulty as 4/5.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to do anything professional course. Law is ever demanding. I wish for the improvement regarding practical experience more. There are a lot of events like shore fest, GEM fest, and other cultural club events. There are many cultural clubs like kalakriti, sanskriti, etc., and for business we have entrepreneurship club, event management, etc. Campus is filled with greenery and beauty. In front of it, we have a beautiful beach where we can let out all the stress. Scholarships are available as on merit and need. Extracurricular activities like gym, sports like badminton, cricket, throwball, shotput, etc., are available.

I am absolutely satisfied because of everything provided by the college.
Placements: In the law course, in my opinion, GITAM is as same as NLU. But the placements are guaranteed but for law courses. There are so many opportunities out there. Through this course, we can choose many paths like legal advisory in top corporate companies, district court judges, law firms, etc. Internships are based on our knowledge and capacity. We have to do internships from 1st semester itself which gives us some experience by 5th year.
Infrastructure: We have advanced projectors and AC classrooms for 365 days. Classrooms are very spacious too. In the hostel, we feel like it is a 4-star hotel. They provide us with every different type of food daily. The mess also has air-conditioners. Inside the hostel area, we have a very big park, cafe, and a general store. Inside the hostel building, there is a vending machine and for washing clothes, they provide washing machines too. It provides non-veg 3 times a week.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful. All we have to do is ask questions and get answers from them. We have 2 semesters in a year. This course provides 50 courses throughout the 5 years and every semester we learn new things. They will not only stick to normal assignments or projects but they make us do new and exciting projects like short filmmaking in legal aspects and debate within our class, etc. Exams are moderate to difficult and the pass percentage is around 96%.
Other: I love law so I chose this course. It will make us a logical one and see things from different perspectives. It organises 3-4 fests every month from different clubs which are so blasting and also a very big event every year, i.e., a Shore fest which is the biggest event in Visakhapatnam. Scholarship is a good thing and we can get a 100% scholarship. I got 40% and every activity will make us experience new things that are needed for everyone like me.

The student life at GITAM is phenomenal, but the curriculum is average.
Placements: I am a student of the School of Law, and I studied here for five years. For law, there are no placements compared to other fields. We have internship opportunities to work in courts and companies, and they also allow us to participate in moot court competitions.
Infrastructure: GITAM has top-notch infrastructure and architecture with high-tech facilities. Many students join here for the campus life at GITAM. We are equipped with labs, libraries, courts, and a lot of auditoriums. There are also many canteens available to hang out with friends and fellow students.
Faculty: The teachers are well-skilled and have good experience in teaching. They interact with students often. The curriculum is good but should be improved. The semester exams are difficult, as they are graded very strictly. They also provide access to Coursera, where we can take extra courses at our discretion.
Other: They provide scholarships if we score good marks in the GAT exam. I chose this college because there are no better colleges for law except NLUs.

I love our college and its comfort, but I am not happy with placements.
Placements: Placements are not as expected in this course. As it is a private institute, placements are very less for us to achieve. Only a few students get placements. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Many students got placed in the corporate sector and law firms as legal advisors.
Infrastructure: The library is fully equipped, and we get to have whatever we want. It is our dream place. The infrastructure of our college is top-notch. Our college provides everything including Wi-Fi, clean washrooms, fully furnished classrooms with projectors, fully operated computers, air conditioners, etc. The hostel is very nice and comfortable. It is very neatly maintained. The mess is very hygienic and healthy.
Faculty: Our faculty members are highly trained and experienced. The course is well-structured. They mostly compare it with the NLU and get along with it. We even have moot court competitions. It is very important for the law background.
Other: I chose this college because I didn't get into NLU, but I don't regret that because this is a whole university together which has everything that we ever wanted. We have full comfort here and all the things we can get into if we want to. There are many things like extracurricular activities and different types of clubs which have so much scope for talent. I love this college so much.

Gitam campus infrastructure is the best.
Placements: The placements are very few as of now. Only a few students are getting placed in recruitments. Even though the CGPA was good. Maximum banks and corporate companies will take recruitments as legal advisors. And coming to the internships, we should search for internships by the students themselves.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was so good, very comfortable, and technological. Hostels are also very hygienic and good. The hospitality team will clean our rooms and washrooms daily. And also, hostel food is too tasty. Sometimes we feel like home, and the chefs are very talented in it.
Faculty: The curriculum was too good, and the faculty are very well versed in their particular subjects. But the schedule was somewhat hectic as the timings are from 8 am to 4 pm. The difficult level of exams is moderate. But exams are mainly situation-based.
Other: Our college is offering two courses for undergraduation, i.e., B.A. LL.B. Hons. and BBA LL.B. Hons., and also LL.M. for postgraduation. Also, there are many clubs for students to enjoy their college life. I chose this university because it is South India's No. 1 private law school.
