Yes, NLSIU Bangalore is ranked by several national and international ranking bodies for LLM.

According to the 2023 National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking of law schools in India, NLSIU Bangalore is ranked first. It is also ranked 18th in the world for law by the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings by Subject 2023.

NLU Bangalore offers a total of 120 seats for admission to LLM. The admission are based on CLAT score. For admission to LLM course at NLU Bangalore candidates have to register through CLAT portal. Registered candidates for CLAT 2024 counselling will be called by CNLU through five provisional merit lists, each released by the Consortium of CLAT. Candidates, who have been allocated a seat in the provisional lists and applied for revision, should check the status of their seat in the CLAT provisonal lists.

Yes, CLAT is necessary for LLM at NLSIU Bangalore. The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is the only mode of admission to the LLM programme at NLSIU Bangalore.
