As per the Loyola College admission guidelines, there are no fixed percentage for admission to the BA course. However, candidates must atleast have a basic percentage (50% aggregate) in their Class 12 exam. The college offers the BA course in different specialisations, including  Sociology, Tamil Literature,  History, etc.

After completing class 12th exam, students can join the BA course at Loyola College by visiting the official website of the college. Admission to all the courses is merit-based.

As per the  Loyola College course policy, the BA course is only available for boys students except for the Bachelor's degree in French. Girls candidates are offered admission in BA French, a three year full-time degree. Admission is entirely based on candidates performance in the last qualifying exam. Eligible students just have to visit the official website of Loyola College and apply for the to the BA course.

The Loyola College Chennai provides a 3-year B.Com course. In addition, the college offers five BCom (Hons.), BCom (Accounting and Finance), BCom (Corporate Secretaryship), and BCom (Computer Applications) courses. The Department of Commerce offers two shifts for the classes of these courses. The selection of these courses is based. The minimal requirements must be met by applicants in order to be admitted to Loyola College. 

Eligibility: Class 12 with Commerce/ Business Studies, Accountancy, Economics/Computer Science, Mathematics/Business Mathematics, Statistics or any other.

Eligibility of this programme includes:
