The B Tech CSE programme is one programme that LPU is known for. Well-tailored course content to meet the global industrial needs, good faculty, and state-of-the-art facilities have left many NITs far behind. The B Tech CSE programme primarily deals with the development as well as designing of computer software and hardware processes with a strong focus on courses related to algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software, databases, operating systems, computer networking, etc. That are needed to build and solve problems using computers.

LPUs Hotel Management and Tourism Discipline prepares the students through an industry-endorsed curriculum and intensive service-oriented practicals with industry exposure in excellent infrastructure. For BCA you should go for CU. Computer applications professionals learn networking, integration, server management, and the use of computers in the business world. They learn software developing, system programming, systems analysis, systems management and project management. They can also pursue Masters programme in computer applications MCA after graduation. The curriculum is made keeping in mind the current market trends. The students can work in banks (Private or Public), the Pvt sector or Public Ltd. companies, etc. The students have done an internship in Companies like IDBI, FUTURE GENERAL INSURANCE Company, COHO, Times of India, Hindustan Times, Karvy stockbroking, Decathlon Sports Ltd; etc. The best thing about LPU about placement is that they provide placement classes to all the students from the first year who opt for the placement. With the help of this, they can prepare themselves for placements till the pre-final year because the companies will start visit for the recruitment of students since a pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year. LPU received an Employability award by Aspiring Mind in 2020 for best placement Institute in India.

As an alumnus of LPU, I feel that the best thing about the university is the quality of Education, the campus and the Infrastructure. Without a doubt, it's a beautiful place for education with a serene environment. The university campus spreads over 600 acres in boundary on the outskirts of Jalandhar and houses over 30,000 students. The campus has all the facilities a student can ask for be it Food Canteens, Gym and Parks. The COVID-19 pandemic has not been able to have any negative impact on the education of students. Everything is being taught online ensuring the safety of the students. My younger brother got admission in the MBA programme and all the admission process was done online. He is very excited to join the campus when the pandemic is over.
